You turn Four today
I remember you being born and crying and the silence you achieved at the sound of your Mother’s voice.
You are named for an outlaw and you defiantly play by your own rules.
You and I are knitted together in ways to numerous to list
You idolize your big brother and watch him constantly to see how to be.
You amaze your mom and me every day with the way you are.
But for me most captivating of all is the way you live with God’s Praise on your lips
You turn four today, may you be blessed by the God you serve with all your heart
